You know something's off.
You just can't pinpoint it.

Reddit critiques are inconsistent. Friends just say "looks great." You need a structured, honest second opinion that tells you the one thing to fix, not ten.

One bottleneck.

The single highest-leverage issue. Not a laundry list: the one fix that moves the needle most.

Worth refining?

Know immediately whether an image deserves more time or if you should move on to a stronger frame.

Track the edit.

Upload the next version. See what improved, what regressed, and whether the bottleneck shifted.

Know when to stop.

The critique flags when more editing stops improving the image, and when the limit is the capture itself. No more guessing.

Here's a sample critique.

An example of what every FinalFrame critique gives you: a score, the single biggest bottleneck to fix, exact editor moves, and a clear signal when to stop.

Tonal Hierarchy

The subject's head reads clearly, but the lower body sinks into similarly dark surroundings. The viewer gets a strong entry point and then nowhere clean to go.

Lightroom fixes: subject

Lift the chest selectively so the bird reads as one coherent subject.

Lane consistency

Three steps to a real critique.

No forms, no waiting for humans. Upload, choose context, read.

01

Upload your image

Drop in a JPEG, PNG, or WebP up to 25 MB. EXIF data is read automatically and factored into the critique.

02

Choose your lane

Tell us the context: portfolio, competition, social feed, print, client work, or mood and style. The critique adapts.

Context changes everything.

A competition image and a social media post need different feedback. Choose the lane that matches your intent.

Clean & Natural

Timeless processing, subtle over bold

Mood & Style

Atmosphere and emotional impact first

Print Ready

Sharpness, tonal range, and material recommendations

Single Bottleneck

The one highest-leverage issue, not ten generic observations.

3-Second Scroll Test

Would this stop a photographer from scrolling? Pass or fail, with a reason.

Crop Suggestion

Whether a tighter frame helps, which direction, and what aspect ratio.

Camera-aware feedback

FinalFrame reads your camera settings (ISO, shutter speed, aperture, focal length) and factors them into capture tips. Not just what to fix in post, but what to do differently next time you shoot.

Honest by design

Curation over politeness. Scores use the full 0–10 range. A 7.5+ (B+) means genuinely strong work. No template praise, no fluffy commentary. Your images are private by default and never used for training.

Frequently asked questions

FinalFrame vs ChatGPT for photo critique: what's different?

FinalFrame is purpose-built: calibrated scoring, iteration tracking across versions, editor-specific slider values, portfolio curation, progress analytics, and a fixed rubric with named lanes.

How accurate is AI photo critique compared to human feedback?

FinalFrame uses competition-calibrated vision AI, not a generic chatbot. It's not a replacement for a human mentor, but it catches things you miss after staring at an edit for hours, and it doesn't depend on anyone's schedule.

What editors are supported?

Every critique generates deep, editor-specific slider guidance for your preferred editor. We support Adobe Lightroom (Classic & CC), Capture One Pro, Darktable, Luminar Neo, Adobe Camera Raw / Photoshop, and DxO PhotoLab. Set your editor in account settings. The critique uses that editor's exact slider names, mask types, and value ranges.

Is my work private?

Yes. Your images are stored in private, encrypted storage and never used for model training. Nothing is made public unless you choose to: by publishing to the community gallery, or by sending someone a share link.

What if I disagree with the critique?

You should sometimes. The AI assesses technical and aesthetic quality, but creative intent is yours. Use it as a structured second opinion: take what's useful, ignore what doesn't serve your vision. If you want the reasoning behind a number, the scoring page walks through how it's built.

What's the difference between Pro and Premium?

Pro gives you 50 credits per month, full progress tracking, Which Shot? comparisons (3 credits each), and iterations that re-score an edit against the original (2 credits each). Premium doubles that to 100 credits with the AI Coaching Brief: a personalized narrative synthesized from all your critiques, with specific focus areas and missions. Your first brief is ready after 10 critiques.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. If you cancel Pro or Premium, you keep access until the end of your billing period. After that, your account continues on the Free plan, which has no end date: you can open photos you added in the last 90 days, older ones stay saved in your archive, and upgrading reopens them.
